After receiving your inquiry, our experts will analyze your needs and provide you with a free, non-binding quote. You'll receive our quote by email within 24 hours, detailing all costs and work steps.
Step 3:
Shipping
Once you have completed your order, or if you accept our offer (if not available online), you will receive a link to your order, confirm it online, and send us your item securely packaged. We recommend choosing insured shipping to minimize the risk of loss. After you have sent your package, simply send us your tracking number as shipping confirmation. You will then receive a confirmation of receipt from us as soon as your package arrives at our workshop.
Step 4:
Incoming inspection and documentation
Upon receipt of your property, we conduct a thorough initial inspection, recording the following characteristics:
- Type of object (e.g. jewelry, cutlery, decorative items)
- Material (e.g. silver, brass, stainless steel)
- Condition of the object (scratches, discoloration, etc.)
- Serial number or other identification features
We document the condition of your property with several photos before we begin work.
Step 5:
Processing – gilding, repair or polishing
Now the craftsmanship process begins. Depending on the agreed service, your objects will go through various work steps:
- Cleaning and preparation : First, the object is thoroughly cleaned and, if necessary, polished to create an optimal surface for gilding or repair.
- Repair work : If there are any cracks, wear or other damage, these will be repaired in this step.
- Palladium diffusion barrier (optional) : For materials such as silver and brass, we apply a layer of palladium to ensure the longevity of the gold plating.
- Gilding : The gold plating is applied in the desired thickness and color shade. We use only high-quality materials and precise technology to achieve optimal results.
- Polishing and final inspection : After gilding, your piece is polished and thoroughly inspected to ensure that all work has been carried out perfectly.
Step 6:
Final inspection and delivery
Once the work is completed, we will document the final condition of your item with photos. You will receive an email notification that your item is ready for shipping. Depending on your preference, we will either return it to you via insured shipping or inform you about pickup options in our store.
Step 7:
Care instructions and service after delivery
Our service doesn't end with delivery! We'll provide you with detailed care instructions so you can enjoy your gold-plated or repaired item for a long time. Should you have any questions or concerns after delivery, our customer service team is available to help you at any time. We also offer discounts on future touch-ups or additional repairs.
